Return & DOA Policy

Livestock

Shipping live animals can be stressful, so there is always a risk on the livestock. If your fish or shrimp are dead on arrival (DOA), you must email a picture of the deceased to thebubbleneststore@gmail.com in the original, unopened bag the same day of delivery for a full refund. If the fish or shrimp die after they are released into your tank, no refund will be provided.

Aquatic animals can develop many different illnesses and can fall victim to parasites. If your fish or shrimp develop an illness or infection, start by checking your water quality with an API Master Test Kit. If your water quality is not to blame, you can then move onto researching it on the internet. There are many helpful facebook groups and youtube videos where you can conduct research.

Live Plants

We do not provide refunds on aquarium plants. Plants most generally melt back durning shipping or when introduced into a new tank environment. However, they can regrow quickly when given proper light and fertilization.

Note: All live aquatic plants require different amounts of light and types of fertilization. Stem plants require liquid fertilization in the water column, and bulb plants require fertilizer (root tabs) inserted underneath the tank's substrate. Do your own research on light levels needed for specific plants before purchasing.
